On September 24th, 2020 12:00 (GMT+8), ForTube officially launched “Governance Lockup Mining” on the ETH version of the platform. Users can lock $FOR to the ForTube Staking contract to obtain $GFOR.
Note: $GFOR is only used as a voucher for locked $FOR and for voting quota when initiating a proposal.
ForTube will distribute incentives on a daily basis to all users who participate in lockup governance according to an annual allocation of 1 $GFOR to 0.2 $FOR. The maximum APY is up to is 100% (Lock 1 $FOR for one year to receive 5 $GFOR, the interest earned over one year is 1 $FOR)
Note: Currently, Governance Lockup Mining is only available on ForTube’s ETH version.
Governance Lockup on PC Version
1. It is recommended to download the Google Chrome browser, and install the MetaMask wallet.
Please make sure you are in a secure network environment and keep your MetaMask seed phrase and password safe. Losing the seed phrase will completely lose your assets.
2. Open the Google Chrome Browser, and go to https://for.tube
3. Select “Governance” and click “Lock” to enter the governance lockup mining page. Click “Connect” and then click “Signature” in the pop-up box of MetaMask wallet to successfully connect the wallet to the ForTube platform.
4. Enter the staking amount of $FOR and choose staking duration. Note: the longer staking time, the more $GFOR amount. Click “Stake Now” to receive governance token $GFOR.
5. After lockup and obtaining $GFOR, users can check “My Mining Reward” on the page below and claim their rewards.
